In this final Talking Timber webinar for 2023, we have Dr Johann van der Merwe and Prof Brand Wessels sharing their insights.
The South African Institute of Architects has assessed and validated this Category One CPD Activity. The activity carries 0.15 CPD points.
Dr van der Merwe will explore the influence of timber material properties on structural design considerations while Prof Wessels will unpack the issues around whether a timber product is fit for purpose, covering structural timber, engineered products, and treated timber.
The webinar is hosted via the Microsoft Teams platform.
The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session and panel discussion. We invite members of the architectural and construction engineering community to join us.
