The Grow the Solution campaign is pleased to announce Federica, a Rome-based furniture restorer and artisan, as our very first Wood Champion.

Federica gives discarded wood a second life. She rescues timber and wooden objects that others have thrown away and transforms them into something new — keeping carbon locked up and reducing pressure on living forests. Her work is a powerful reminder that sustainable wood solutions can emerge from the most unexpected places: not just forests, but the things that are already around us.
